CLTH / iNS cells express neutral stem cell markers (Sox2 and Nestin). Under appropriate conditions (cultivation in the presence of EGF and bFGF), the induced neural stem cells remain undifferentiated. Removal of growth factors causes spontaneous differentiation into neurons and glial cells.
