CLTH / Immortalized Pericytes were obtained by immortalizing pericas using the SV40 large T antigen (SV40) antigen and the BMI-1 complex protein ( polycomb complex protein ). Pericytes morphologically resemble mesenchymal cells. CLTH / Immortalized Pericytes express one of the markers typical for pericytes - α-SMA.
